Performed various system administration tasks involving a Bynari e-mail/groupware system, various firewalls and databases, wrote scripts for various data processing needs. Also in charge of the backup system. July 2006 -- transitioning to be the interim "IT guy" at HCJB's jungle hospital in Shell, Ecuador. This will involve maintaining the Linux servers as well as Windows clients and keeping the network and the PBX running smoothly.

Implemented Web based applications, using primarily Perl and PHP, to client specifications as well as internal projects. Also wrote a daemon in C to speed up searching of a large database. I did nearly all back end development for StrayPet.com and Domain Maniac, among other things.
Responsibilities included writing Visual Basic applications and Microsoft Office macros to client specifications, installation and configuration of Windows NT, and some AS/400 programming.
I was the student webmaster intern.
